Children get sick – and sometimes die. Strandbakkehuset is a hospice for children in Denmark, where families come to get help and relief or maybe, to say goodbye in the best way possible. But despite everything, the staff insists that we can’t lose hope or faith - no matter how unpleasant even the idea of a children hospice may seem. A Danish TV crew spent the first 3 months of 2023, when winter turned to spring, following the families and staff at Strandbakkehuset.
