The Großglockner High Alpine Road - an outstanding construction by engineer Franz Wallack - is located in the middle of the Hohe Tauern National Park. This not only makes this road unique, but also places it in an area of tension between tourism, technology and nature. The film trilogy presents important aspects of the road, historical circumstances, challenges in and with the environment, touristic highlights, the wonderful nature as well as information on topics such as research or emissions.
