This is the 88-year life story of ex-pro boxer Iwao Hakamada, a death row inmate, who was acquitted in retrial in 2024, after 58-year battle in court. He was arrested for murder and had been incarcerated for 47 years. In 2014, he got freed and started living with his sister Hideko. Although he has a mental problem because of his imprisonment and takes weird behaviors, Hideko accepts him with cheerfulness. It eventually reveals Iwao’s deeper thought of the peaceful world without any hatred.
