Tay Guan Hin, Creative Chairman of BBDO Singapore, is renowned for his creative prowess, contributing to significant agency networks like Saatchi & Saatchi, Wunderman Thompson, Grey, and Leo Burnett. Through innovative digital engagement, he enhances brand preference for blue chip clients like Visa, AIA, Audi, Shell, Johnson & Johnson, Abbott, P&G, HSBC, and Unilever. His creative strategies effectively increase market share and address complex business challenges. A recipient of over 300 international/regional/local creative awards to his name, Guan was fortunate to be recognized by Cannes Lions as a Jury President, where he was the first Asian in SEA to receive such an honor. He was also the first Asian to lead a prestigious global show called Design & Art Direction, with Clio and regional award shows like Asian Effies, Adfest, and London International Awards as their jury president.
He has spoken as a global keynote speaker at TEDx in many industry events like Spikes Asia, AdStar in Korea, Adfest in Thailand, Brand Magic Summit in Mauritius, One Show in China and NY, and Cannes Lions in France. He has been known to be a creative innovator and delivered keynotes to blue-chip clients like the US Grain Council, Tencent, NTUC FAIR PRICE, and Unilever.
He devotes the same passion that goes into his work by mentoring young talents and setting up the first student awards in Singapore. He spoke and trained students in early 2004 One Show China, where he served as a judge and spoke at the One Show Greater China Creative Summit. Guan fostered innovation within the speaking community when he was the President of the Asia Professional Speakers Association between 2022-2023.
