Documentary Filmmaker
Caterina Barbera is an Emmy-nominated journalist and documentary filmmaker from Chile. She is currently a producer at ABC News, where she has worked on dozens of mid and long-form stories for ABC News, Hulu, and Disney+.
Previously, Caterina produced the documentary "Almost American" (Dir. Nina Alvarez) for PBS and was an Associate Producer for "Sanson and Me" (Tribeca, Sheffield Doc Fest, PBS), directed by Rodrigo Reyes. She also produced and was 1st AD for the short narrative film "Away, Together" (Santa Fe Film Festival, Reel Asian), directed by Sana Malik.
In Chile, Caterina worked as an investigative reporter for Megavision, producing award-winning short documentaries for television. She is a graduate of Columbia Journalism School, where she specialized in documentary filmmaking.
