Film and Tell
Åsa Ekman is a Swedish documentary director and producer, with several award-winning films, with international distribution. Such as "Say Something" (2015) and "My life my lesson" (2014) which premiered at IDFA, "A Mother’s Comeback" (2011) which premiered and was awarded at the Gothenburg International Film Festival (2012), "Earth: Muted" (2021) won Grand Prix at MAFF and was acquired by ARTE. "Live Till I Die" (2022) was rated by critics among the top 5 best 2022 films in Sweden. Åsa is part of Film and Tell, a company with a focus on driving social change with documentaries, and the greatest achievement is the introduction of a new law in the Child Protection Act. Åsa is in the jury of the Swedish Publishing Prize.
