Matthew C. Mills is an Emmy and Webby Award-winning director and producer. Recent film credits include "Chasing Chasing Amy," "The Unknown Country," "Freeland," "Well Groomed," and "We Always Lie to Strangers." His movies have premiered and played at hundreds of film festivals, including Tribeca, SXSW, BFI London, Hot Docs, Palm Springs International, AFF Poland, Outfest, Cinema Ambiente, Bentonville, and Frameline.
His play, "Three Texas Women," premiered at the New York Theater Festival, garnering three nominations and a best actress win.
He is the Founder of Spacestation, a studio and production company headquartered in Brooklyn, New York. Matthew has overseen thousands of hours of branded content, live television, commercials, experiential events, and theater for outlets as diverse as Netflix, HBO, MTV, Bravo, Food Network, Investigation Discovery, CBS, C4 (UK), PBS, and many ad agencies and other outlets. Matthew studied theater and film at the University of Missouri and Stephens College. He is also a Forward/Story Fellow of the Columbia University School of Professional Studies.
