Meghan Shea is an award-winning director and producer specializing in non-fiction filmmaking, with a focus on research-driven, visually engaging storytelling across documentary and commercial work. She has collaborated with artists such as Yo-Yo Ma, and her films have been screened by organizations including the World Health Organization, the Tribeca Film Festival, and the United Nations General Assembly. Her clients include BBC StoryWorks, Sony Music, The Rockefeller Foundation, and Condé Nast. She is the co-founder of Persistent Productions, based in Boston and Singapore. Her work explores the intersection of art, science, and social impact, including the film How I Live, focused on equity in global childhood cancer care. She holds an MFA from The George Washington University, is a member of New Day Films, and is co-chair of the Pediatric Patient Family Advisory Council at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
