Anders Garde Kongshaug has more than three decades of experience in film, television, and cultural communication. He has produced thousands of works broadcast on international media, including MTV, AP, CNN, BBC, Euronews, ZDF, ABC, Reuters, and Eurovision, reaching a global audience of hundreds of millions of viewers with each video news release. Kongshaug has received more than 70 international awards within the CIFFT community for tourism films, including 7 nominations and a win for the World’s Best Tourist Film. He is the most awarded Danish director in the field and has played a defining role in shaping tourism communication for Copenhagen, contributing to its transformation from a relatively unknown city into a leading international tourist destination. Since 2008, he has successfully produced video news releases and branding films for cities across Europe. He studied Film & TV and Rhetoric at the University of Copenhagen and founded vnr.TV / Kongshaug Productions in 1987.
