In this next installment, we proudly present Brais Revaldería, a visionary filmmaker and entrepreneur based in New York. With a prolific 20-year career, Brais has left an indelible mark on cinema and media, directing and producing for HBO, Telecinco, Globo TV Brazil, and Al Jazeera. His accolades include three Grand Clio awards and an Emmy.
 

Which creative or visual artist do you look up to?

Annie Leibovitz inspires me with her iconic and evocative photography.
 

What's your guilty pleasure?

Binge-watching episodes of "Stranger Things" late into the night.
 

What's the most stunning city or region you've shot in?

The breathtaking landscapes of Galicia, Spain, offer unparalleled visuals.
 

What's the most unique location you've filmed in?

The curro in Sabucedo, during the shoot of "RAPA das bestas," my last feature documentary. "RAPA das bestas" (translated as "Shaving of the mares") is a centuries-old Galician custom that consists of cutting the manes of horses in a closed enclosure with a round shape called curro.
 

What's one piece of advice you'd give to up-and-coming video content creators?

Stay true to your vision and never stop learning, the industry is always evolving.
